Consultation Process

This is exactly how our consultation process works — it’s all about understanding your dog as an individual.

It’s a very collaborative process. You’ll get practical, easy-to-follow steps, a written plan, and ongoing support while you start implementing changes. My goal is to help you feel confident about what you’re feeding and to see genuine improvements in your dog’s health from the inside out.

Completing Your Dog's Dietary History

Once you’ve booked and paid for your consultation, you’ll automatically receive an email with a link to complete a Comprehensive Dietary History Form.

This form is a really important part of the process — it gives me a detailed overview of your dog’s current diet, health history, lifestyle, and any concerns you have. The information you share here forms the foundation of your dog’s personalised treatment plan, so the more detail you can include, the better.

If your dog has a diagnosed medical condition, I’ll also ask you to provide a copy of their veterinary records. This ensures I’m working with accurate, up-to-date information so that any dietary recommendations fully support your dog’s medical needs and complement any existing treatments.

A Holistic Plan For Lasting Results

Once I have all the information I need, I’ll begin creating your dog’s treatment plan. This is a detailed, personalised guide that outlines the steps needed to help your dog reach their health goals.

The plan takes a holistic approach, focusing on healing from the inside out, and is divided into three key areas:

  1. Nutrition – Feeding a wholesome, fresh food diet designed to reduce inflammation, support the digestive system, and provide the nutrients your dog needs to thrive.

  2. Supplements – Recommending targeted, therapeutic supplements that encourage healing, restore gut integrity, and strengthen the body’s natural defences.

  3. Lifestyle adjustments – Suggesting simple, practical changes to daily routines that promote long-term wellness and help prevent future setbacks.

Each element of the plan works together to support your dog’s overall health, helping them feel more comfortable, energetic, and balanced.

3

When Your Plan Is Ready

Once your treatment plan is complete (usually within 2–3 days), I’ll email it to you along with any supporting notes, product recommendations, and educational resources.

I like to send this before our chat so you have time to read through it properly and let everything sink in. There’s quite a bit to cover, so this gives you a chance to jot down any questions or thoughts that come up. That way, when we chat, our time together can focus on fine-tuning the plan, clarifying anything you’re unsure about, and making sure you feel confident putting it all into practice.

At this stage, we’ll schedule a phone call, video session, or home visit — whichever suits you best — to walk through the plan in detail and discuss the next steps for your dog’s journey back to full health.

4

Follow-Up Support

I’ll continue to be available over the following weeks and months to support you as you start making the recommended changes to your dog’s diet and routine.

This ongoing support is a key part of the process — it’s completely normal to have questions or need reassurance as you put everything into practice. Many of the adjustments may feel new at first, and getting them right can make all the difference in how well your dog responds and recovers.

My goal is to make sure you feel confident every step of the way. I’m genuinely invested in your dog’s progress and want to see them thriving, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help, clarification, or just a bit of guidance along the way.
