I use this on my own spaniel Alfie, every pollen season. He's an environmental allergy dog, and when the pollen load is high, his skin microbiome takes a hit – you get that imbalance where opportunistic bacteria and yeast start taking over, the skin barrier weakens, and the itch-scratch cycle kicks in.
 
Spraying MicroMed directly onto the affected areas has made a real difference for him. It doesn't just mask the irritation – it rebalances the microbial environment on the skin surface so the beneficial microbes can out-compete the ones causing the problem. The skin barrier stays stronger and the flares are shorter and less intense when we stay on top of it during high-pollen periods.

Antiseptics wipe out everything – good and bad – which leaves the skin vulnerable to recolonisation by whatever pathogen was there before. MicroMed floods the area with over 80 strains of beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa and other archaea, creating an environment where harmful microbes simply can't get a foothold.
 
It's a live probiotic product, which means one important rule: do not use alongside antibiotics, antibacterials or antifungals – these will kill the beneficial microbes and cancel out the product. If your dog is on any of those treatments, wait until they're finished before starting MicroMed.

How to use:
Apply 1–2 full sprays to affected areas twice daily. Continue for at least 10 days after the issue has resolved to prevent recurrence.
